Your texts

The installed application analyses texts locally and does not upload them for detection. Optional history stores texts/results and drafts locally using Windows DPAPI protection in the current version. Disable/delete history or set retention in Settings. Exports and backups need separate access controls. Hosted demos send submitted text to their server.

What the application sends

• Hugging Face: model downloads and signed-manifest checks; GitHub: installer downloads.
• Polar: licence activation, deactivation and periodic validation; key, activation identifiers, random label and machine-derived identifier hash, not checked texts.
• Providers see connection metadata such as IP address. Hosted demos send submitted texts to their server; desktop inference remains local.

Purchases

Payments, receipts and the licence key are handled by Polar as Merchant of Record under its own privacy policy. The author receives your name, e-mail and country as the buyer of a key, to provide support, and nothing is sold or shared.
