FAQ

A few useful answers.

Do I need both apps?

Only if you need both workflows. Detector works with text; Probe searches your files. Install either one independently.

Is the Humanizer a separate subscription?

It is part of Linda Detector and requires a paid Linda Detector licence. Personal and Team are one-time licences; Organization is annual.

Do documents leave my computer?

Desktop processing runs locally. Downloads, updates and licence validation use the network. Text entered into the online demo is processed on a server.

Can Trace prove who wrote a text?

No. It compares supplied texts and ranks style similarity. Genre, length, editing and shared sources can change the result.
